Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Accounting Clerk III - Cash Operations who will ensure timely and accurate transaction processing with utilization of resources (people & systems) within Corporate values, policies and controls. This position reports to the Supervisor, Cash Operations & Voyage.

Responsibilities

  • Processes refunds and commissions and applies cash in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines. Processes individual bookings and group audits and refunds in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.

  • Responsibilities include a focus on providing Cash Operations services to Princess and Cunard, and to develop procedures and cross train team members in Carnival Asia processing.

  • Processes the appropriate volume of transactions meeting production requirements.

  • Maintains quality control meeting accuracy requirements.

  • Researches and/or resolves credit card transactions issues for reservations and onboard.

  • Assists in resolving issues and answers questions for internal and external customers, including ad hoc reporting and special projects.

  • Assists/participates in Cash Operations functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years experience in a Finance related function recommended.

  • Associates degree preferred.

  • Experience with computer business applications, including spreadsheets.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are important.

Preferences

  • Knowledge of Oracle financial systems is a plus.
