The Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Sr. Human Resources Analyst aka Sr. Financial Analyst who will manage the Crew Cost Budget through building, forecasting, and analyzing.

Works with department leads to forecast and plan for all Personnel Crew Costs. Liaises with Finance and HRIS departments to ensure data in the Cognos system is accurately updated and reported and performs management accountant analysis.
Functions as a financial/HR business partner for operational departments for the Crew Cost budget.
Ensures that personnel changes are entered in a timely manner within forecasted deadlines.
Compiles monthly data for metrics and reports for the Board.
Consults and advises management on compensation related policies and procedures for crew members including; pension, accrued leave and other pay elements.
Analyzes monthly financial and complement data.
Responsible for managing, maintaining, and often building complex financial models.
Prepare accounting entries for expenses, reclasses, and accruals.
Reviews current policies and procedures for simplification, control and efficiencies.
Delivers exceptional customer service and anticipates the needs and/or concerns of co-workers.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements and increases in organizational efficiency.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
3 – 5 five years of experience in analyzing, understanding and interpreting data.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and expert level in Excel and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to lead cross-divisional teams to produce effective results.
Knowledge of Cognos financial systems, Oracle, SQL, and Tableau are a plus.
Knowledge of internal systems MAPS, EPIC, CAPS, or SABRE are also a plus.
